Dogs for sale

I usually have dogs for sale most of the time. Not all of the dogs I have for sale are listed on this page. If you don't see a dog that fits your needs please contact me to see what else I have available.

I raise and train solid working dogs. Dogs that are bred to work livestock with power,balance and method, dogs with natural ability and instinct.  You will not find a "cowboy" dog or a biting/slashing,tail flagging,get a lot of action, kind of dog here. You can find that type of dog at any local pound. I choose natural working dogs and do my best to train them to use their natural ability.

Started dogs- Dogs know their commands(flanks,stop,recall) and work well at short distances. 

Well Started dogs- Dogs know all their commands(flanks,stop,recall) outrun well, are starting to drive and are ready to start gaining experience working.   

Trained dogs-Dogs know all their commands(flanks,stop,recall,etc) outrun very well, drive. These dogs are ready to make a hand and start earning their keep.  

Finished dogs- Fully trained knowing all there commands,outrun to any distance,drive away to any distance and capable of doing a days work.

Jim   11/28/2009  Jim is a nice started dog knowing all his commands (flanks,stop,recall,etc.)  He runs out nice for short distances  He works with very power balance and method  He has the right amount of eye

Jim is a very good sheep or goat dog   He has worked cattle on a limited basis  He is a very strong heel dog but has enough bite on the head to move whatever he is working  When working sheep/goats he does not take any cheap shots but will move ewes or nannies with small babies

Jim is a registered dog with most of the dogs in his pedigree coming from Nebraska,Iowa and some imported dogs

  DAN   4/29/2009   Dan is a very nice trained dog knowing all his commands(flanks,stop,recall,etc...)  Dan is a strong dog that uses power,balance and method when working  He has the right kind of eye but is very free moving

Dan has worked sheep and goats but the last 2 years has been working on a cow/calf outfit in Ohio  When working sheep/goats Jim uses very good instincts to work   When working cattle he is a very nice heel dog with plenty of power and strength on the head

SOLD  Jess  3/18/2009   Jess is a finished dog knowing all her commands(flanks,stop,recall,etc,) both voice and whistle   She has very good balance and method and is an exceptionally strong dog  She runs out to any distance and drives very well

Jess spent her working life on a cow/calf operation   I have worked sheep and goats with her in the short time I've had her and she will make an excellent sheep/goat dog    She is a very strong head dog when working cattle and heels enough to be effective

Her breeding includes several imported dogs
